Adele is back to breaking records while releasing her new album

The almost six-year-long wait is finally over as Adele released a new single from her upcoming album titled “30.”

She is back and stronger than ever. Her latest single named “Easy on Me” was released on Oct. 18 receiving 24 million streams during only the first 24 hours since its release.

The song earned the title of the most streamed song in a single day on both Spotify and Amazon Music.

To no surprise, the single performed extremely well in the singer’s home country, breaking the record for most single-day streams in the U.K. with 3.2 million streams.

The last release from the singer was her junior album called “25.” It quickly became the best-selling album of 2015 and received a number of rewards, such as the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Looking at the statistics, as well as the feedback after the latest release, it can be expected that the upcoming album will compete for similar awards.

The song also claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, joining her other No. 1 hits, such as “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” “Set Fire to the Rain,” and “Hello.”

The success of the newest single from the album speaks for itself, but if that wasn’t enough to remind people of the kind of impact she has, the announcement of two concerts at Hyde Park in London most certainly did just that.

The concerts were announced for July of 2022 and both are already sold out. Her performances will be a part of the British Summer Time Festival. The demand for the tickets was so high that the site crashed as fans tried to register for the pre-sale.

When the tickets went on general sale, they were gone in minutes, with more than a million people trying to buy them. The venue where the performances will take place has an official capacity of 65,000, which really puts into perspective how big the demand for the singer’s performance was.

This is only the beginning, as her upcoming album “30” was just released today.

The new album starts a new era for both herself, as well as her music career. In an Instagram post announcing the album she wrote, “I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way.

“I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out.”

On Nov. 1, the singer released the tracklist from the album, which will feature twelve songs, one of them being a collaboration with Erroll Garner. The Target exclusive version will feature three additional songs, also including a collaboration, this time with Chris Stapleton.

As it is seen in the music video for her latest single, Adele leaves the empty house shown in her previous music videos with a suitcase in her hand, truly symbolizing leaving her behind her past and officially starting a new era of her career, as well as a new chapter in her life.
